    • I have a problem in the outside meniscus. I can walk or run but I need some support when I play tennis. Could this brace help me to get that support and not letting the knee rotate?
    • Alex
      That brace is a post -op brace and can't be worn for athletic activities. Look at the Economy hinged knee Brace: https://www.betterbraces.com.au/donjoy-economy-hinged-knee the brace has two hinges that will support your knee and you can wear it for sports

    • Have broken one of the plastic loops the strap goes through while tightening the strap. Is there a replacement for this?
    • Scott
      We have replacement straps for that brace but they are on back order until May. If your brace is under warranty the entire brace can be replaced. If you ordered on our website to get it replaced, if you got it from a Dr's office take it back to them to be replaced
  • Kevin G. at 14/04/2014 1:18 am
    • I'm four days post-op and ready to go back to work.
      Can I wear the donjoy brace on the outside of my slacks or does it need to be on the inside?
    • You can wear it on the outside of your slacks but you may have some sliding issues
  • Tommie Slade at 20/03/2014 12:55 pm
    • I am a Physical therapist Assistant,, one of my patients have this type of brace. how do I change the flexion settings???? Contact me soon as possible because I see her tomorrow (thursday) morning
    • Tommie
      The flexion and extesion settings are on the hinge of the brace. The TROM allows for you to set flection at 30, 40, 70 and 90 degrees. You just push the button and move the button to the desired setting on both sides of the brace. You do the same with the extesion, the extension settings allow _10, 0, 10 and 30 degrees

    • Why are those pads under the straps so big is it possible to make them smaller
    • Thank you for your question. The picture featured is the cool version and is the version with the smaller pads.
  • Ruben at 7/02/2014 1:35 pm
    • What's does it mean when it's full
    • Thank you for your question. "Full" means that there is going to be foam covering most of the skin. The cool version will have more skin exposure. The brace pictured is the cool version. The "Full" will have wider foam.
  • Carlos at 16/10/2013 3:08 pm
    • ¿Which one would work best for me? I can not put weight on my knee for near 60 days and the crunches are awful.
    • Carlos
      This brace, the TROM Advanced Knee Brace, is usually used after surgery and can be adjusted at the hinge to restrict motion of the knee joint. If you are not allowed to put any weight on your leg for sixty days wearing this brace would not change that. If you have any specific questions on the brace or any other please do not hesitate on letting us know. The crutches can be uncomfortable and here are a couple of suggestions. Do not lean on the crutches put the wieght on your hands and you can pad the top of the crutches with a towel wrapped and tapped around it.

    • when was the first one made
    • This product has been in our line for a few years now.
  • Terri at 28/05/2013 10:36 pm
    • Five days after surgery an the brace keeps sliding down. How can I correct this?
    • Hello Terri,

      The Brace should not be sliding down. The Straps on the TROM Advance are adjustable, you can tighten the fit. The Cuffs Telescope, so that you may adjust the height/length of the brace. Please contact us so that we can put you in touch with your area Representative, they can meet with you and adjust the brace. Another suggestion is to contact your Physician so that they may adjust the brace for you.

      Have a Great Day.

    • What's the difference between the advanced knee brace and the telescoping knee brace?
    • Hello, Emily -

      There are quite a few differences between the brace.

      The Telescoping T-ROM has the following features:
      * ankle stirrups
      * varying extension and flexion stops

      The Advanced T-ROM has the following features:
      * streamline hinge (20% smaller)
      * quick release buckles
      * quick-lock mechanism

      Both braces have different buckling system.

      We recommend you contact our product specialists at 888-405-3251.

      Thank you and have a wonderful day!

    • The support is a little long. How do you shorten it?
    • The Brace is adjustable from 17" to 23 1/4" you would need to use the push tabs on the sides of the brace. Push them in and slide the brace up or down to desired length.
