    • Where does the splint go?
    • Thank you for your question. The ProCare Bunion Splint Support can go on either the right or left foot. It will attach around the mid foot and around the big toe to help with bunion problems.

    • I am looking for a brace to help keep my foot from bending as I have a plantar plate tear, I have tried the Procare square toed shoe but my foot is still able to bend. I need complete rigidity as I have to comepete even in my condition. I know this brace is not meant for plantar tears but could it help my Procare brace provide the rigidity?
    • Zach,
The ProCare Bunion Splint support will wrap around the big toe and the forefoot. This splint will not keep the foot from bending. You will want to look at a short walking boot, as they will give the more rigidity and prevent range of motion in the foot. Speak with your physician and depending on where your plantar tare is you may want to look at the Aircast Airheel Ankle Brace or the Aircast Airlift PTTD Brace for use during activity. Thank you for contacting DJO.

    • is this support to be used all day with shoes and or sneekers?
    • Hey Richard,
Yes, the ProCare Bunion Splint Support is meant to be used with shoes or sneakers. We recommend against wearing shoes with pointed toes. This will negate the ability for the brace to support you.

    Too bulky but good support

I like the concept but you should take a page from the book of Bunion Bootie. They seemed to have gotten it right as far as being thin enough to wear in shoes.
